Travel & Food Photography – We’ve been FRINGED!

What an adventure this has been so far!  We had no idea that the time we would be in Scotland was one of the most popular times of the year because of the notorious Fringe Festival.  They were so many people everywhere doing the craziest things – it was all rather amusing of course!  We braved the madness and had a great day experiencing Fringe and adding to the food photography archives.  Mom and I managed not to get too lost on our second day in Edinburgh…but figuring out the busses was a totally different story. My feet were covered in blisters by the time I crawled into bed from all of the walking we did!
Why I love my Mom…reason 1Why I love my Mom…reason 2.Why I love my Mom…reason 3.Why I love my Mom…reason 4.Fringe madness…take 100.We made sure to visit the cafe where J.K. Rowling wrote the first few Harry Potter books…we had baked potatoes filled with all sorts of yummy things! Is this not the most precious little girl you have ever seen!Mom and I thought it would be a good idea to walk to the top of  “Arthur’s Seat,” until we got about half way and decided that Arthur liked where we were sitting. This peacock was rocking outside of our restaurant…I was trying to nicely get it to display it’s feathers:)  As you can see I was not successful. The best restaurant in Edinburgh…food was amazing and the atmosphere was fabulous.  Would’ve taken more pictures but we basically had to run out of the restaurant to get to the Military Tattoo performance.Every summer Edinburgh puts on a Military Tattoo performance – it was amazing but I was FREEZING.  Mom and I LOVED the bagpipes!

You guys, excuse me, gals, are too cute. I’m laughing and enjoying with you every step of the way. That place is more beautiful than I had imagined. The food pictures are amazing….sure you don’t want to publish “Megan’s Amazing Cuisine Magazine”?? How poetic!
