One of the most exciting parts of my job as an engagement photographer is deciding what setting and unique poses to use. Engagement photography poses can make or break a shoot because if the couple does not feel natural in what they are doing the photo will not look natural. I always encourage couples to do what is comfortable and what comes naturally to them and not to force a pose they saw someone else do. This section of my photography blog covers the engagement photos I have taken recently. I have worked with so many amazing couples! Summer engagement photos are beautiful with the longer days offering the perfect light. Winter engagement photos are perfect for those who may prefer a more unique urban setting and or a woodsy atmosphere. However, I must say my favorite time of the year for them is in the Fall and Autumn…I just can’t get enough of the bright fall colors and rich autumn light.
